As Paolo explained in the previous post, it has been a really bad time for me and my health.
I had some serious health problems and I got a very long rehab period, but now…as you can see, I’m finally back!
Thanks to all the people that supported me during this time! I really appreciated it!

As I feel much better now, I took this chance to spend some time in the studio and finish all my vocal parts!

Below you’ll follow a little preview of what happened, the result sounds amazing to us…and we can’t wait to finally listen to the complete production!

I thought that maybe it was time to give you some updates about the recordings & more… ;)

In the last weeks Faust had experienced some serious health problems, this has delayed some vocal overdubs and some other things that we wanted to change in the recordings!
Now he’s following a rehab period and he’s going to be fine soon!

As someone of you may already know about one month ago Simone quit the band because of personal reasons.
Just a couple of days later we locked ourselves in the rehearsal room with a very close friend of us helping on guitar…
As you can imagine we had a very busy month rehearsing all our new songs but finally, we can proudly formalize that Paolo De Maria (Devil’s Claw, Something To Share) is our new guitarplayer and we couldn’t be happier than this! Welcome to the family dude!!! :)
In the end, just let me spend some words for Simo: we really would like to thank him for his great effort and help in this years and we’re really looking forward to share the stage with his band “A Faded Glory”!

I know, I know.. it’s been a while since we posted the last episode of our Studio Diary… I know.
We apologize for our lateness but, believe us, we had no time to breathe.

October has arrived, and with it also all its cold stuff. Some of us are now resting and taking a couple of days of relax time to get out of the damned flu.

But good news are coming very very soon!
We’re finally done with the recording parts and we’re going to release soon the 3rd episode of our Studio Diary including Bass and Vocals recordings.
Soon we’ll start the mixing and mastering sessions… we’ll keep you updated!

Also, we are getting ready for the first live show of our new season, the next 8th of November, in Arese (ITA)…
the first of a long row of live shows that are being booked in those days (more infos will be posted soon on our official Myspace Page, check it out!).

Meanwhile, we did a funny interview on the independent magazine “Pandora’s Gate” from Missouri (USA): you can read it also online at this location.

As promised here’s the first post for the studio diary!

This week we’ve been at Fear Studio in Ravenna (Modern Age Slavery, Empyrios, etc..) to record the drums for our upcoming album.
Matteo has nailed all his tracks in just a couple of days and I really can’t wait to finish all the recording and listen to this album… it sounds fucking killer already!!

We really want to thank all the studios’ staff, and, especially, Simone Mularoni for his really great effort and his job behind the console! (we love you bro! see ya soon for some more drinks!) ;)

Next week I’ll upload the video for fist episode of the recordings (as soon as I can, promised!), in the meanwhile you can check out Matteo’s drumset on the pic below… check back soon for some cool update!

Next step: GUITARS! Fuck yeahhhhh!!!

We are more than ready and pretty excited!
Next sunday, 14th of June Forgotten Tears will fire up the stage of Spazio4 (Piacenza, Italy) together with the headlining american deathcore masters All Shall Perish (Nuclear Blast) and other nine awesome bands of the current italian metalcore, hardcore and deathcore scene (including Abel Is Dying, Within Your Pain, Damned Spring Fragrantia, Five Days Of Rain and many more)!

The entrance is absolutely free!
The festival will start at 6.30 pm and will be going on all night, with merch and distros stands, two live stages and no stop music!!!

Thanks to the amazing guys of Mass Murder Inc. and Sunday Morning booking agencies who organized everything… again, it’s completely free!!

Get your bodies there and be sure to never give up moshing!
We do hope to see you there to party all together!
